Origins and historical context

يربط نقش درسه عالم الآثار ميخائيل ماسون مسجد كوك غومباز في قرشي بعبد الله خان الثاني ويؤرخ اكتماله بعامي 1590 و1591.

Architecture and evidence

خدم المسجد قرشي والمجتمعات المحيطة بها بوصفه مركزاً لصلاة الجمعة. Its name, “Blue Dome,” should not cause confusion with the Timurid mosque of the same name in Shakhrisabz.
