The story
A vast protected system
Ugam–Chatkal National Park spans large parts of the western Tian Shan across Bostanliq, Parkent and Ohangaron districts. Rivers, ridges and protected zones make it a regional framework, not one entrance attraction.
Western Tien Shan context
Parts of the western Tian Shan are recognised through a transnational UNESCO World Heritage property. This does not mean that every recreation site in the park is individually inscribed or freely accessible.
Conservation and use zones
Protected areas can include zones with different access rules. Wildlife and rare plants are conservation values, not guaranteed sightings.
